Thank you for being a courageous person who would defend his nation physically against foreign and domestic invaders! We will need these types if the political system of Islam gets a majority hold on our Beloved country!

Islam should be wiped from the earth.

I think I’d be the 1828 version, although I am not in the military, I would stand and fight for this country, I would defend our Constitution, I would die for my country and our freedoms. As my son recently said to me “I would throw rocks at them if it was all I had”.

Socialism is upon us as we speak, and we cannot let that happen here, we cannot stand for that.

Aaww, Jo, you’re son sounds so cute! I don’t know how old he is, but he is brave nonetheless. And for you, you are a soldier. Actually, you might want to think about joining our Security Sisters. We are all women who WILL fight for this country against foreign and domestic enemies. You can find the link in the side bar. We can not stand for Marxism, no way, now how, not while we are alive! Thank you for your comment and welcome to the No Compromise blog!

Thank you! I am joining right now, as we speak…and thank you so much for the warm welcome to the blog…And yes, as long as I breath I will defend my country; too many came before me that gave the most precious gift of all so that we may have forums such as this. My grandmother who raised me taught me to be strong, a woman warrior in her own right. Again thank you, sister!

Defending America from the enemy within is the most patriotic thing anyone can do at this time.

What are YOU doing to defend America against the enemy within ?

“Patriotism: is the love and loyalty of a person for his country. Patriotism includes attachment to a country’s land and people, admiration for its customs and traditions and devotion to its welfare. The term suggests a feeling of oneness and membership of their country.
Patriotism is a normal attitude or feeling. It has existed in all ages and among all peoples, from the most ancient to those of today. Evidence of this universal feeling can be found in the prominence the literature of many country’s gives to patriotism. Outstanding literary works praise loyalty to country and willingness to suffer even death in defense of a country’s freedom and good name. In times of war, patriotic songs and slogans have helped unite citizens in support of their country.
Schools help to develop patriotism in order to create an appreciation for common memories, hopes and traditions. Through the study of history, for example, many students learn to love their country and admire its great heroes. Patriotic organizations maintain and promote such symbols of patriotism and national glory as the national flag, and national; shrines and monuments. Leading patriotic organizations in the United States include the Daughters of the American Revolution, the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. World Book has many separate articles on these and many other patriotic organizations. See Veterans Organizations for its list of related articles.
Patriotism requires public service and responsibility of all citizens. Most persons agree that the patriotic citizen has a duty to keep informed on public issues, to take part in civic affairs, and to contribute to the welfare of his country to the best of his ability. President Kennedy stressed in his inaugural address in 1961. He told Americans, Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.
Most persons agree that patriotism involves serving ones country, but many disagree on how they can best perform such service. Some say that the national government speaks for the country, and that citizens should support all government policies and actions. Others argue that a true patriot will speak out if he is convinced that his country is following an unjust or unwise course of action.”

Yep, just the opposite of what we see happening today. Can’t you just feel the political incorrectness in that definition? That’s the way it we used to do it, until we got this new and improved version. I always knew I saved those books for a reason, I use them all the time these days, to get at the truth. Yep, you have to go backward to find your way forward. Upside down and inside out that’s where we are today.

One rule I try to keep on tgusa is using the oldesst books I can find because they aren’t polluted with the anti-American, PC bullcrap! As I was reading the quote you gave I noticed all the post modern, touchy-feelly wording. Patriotism is an act, not an opinion, and certainly not a feeling. That’s one big problem Americans are having these days: They feel too much and don’t think enough! If you notice in the 1828 version it’s all about our actions for our country. Thanks.

Check “The New Patriots” – a DVD available on Amazon.com. Learn what a Congressional Medal of Honor winner, a woman West Point grad and three other US military veterans think about patriotism today.

I checked it out Robert and it appears to be more liberal dribble on redefining patriotism. I’ll stick with the original definition of patriotism to define how I stand and not on the “new” post modern version, thank you very much!

HAVEN’T WE ALL HAD ENOUGH PATRIOTISM, THE LAST 24 YEARS?

IT’S TIME TO THINK FOR YOURSELVES, INSTEAD OF MINDLESSLY FOLLOWING WHAT YOUR”E TOLD IS PATRIOTISM.

TIME TO ACTUALLY OBEY THE LAWS AND ACTUALLY UPHOLD THE CONSTITUTION, INSTEAD.
