Tag!  You’re it!    My fellow bloggist over at The Renaissance Biologist tagged me,  so here are the instructions:

1. Pick up the nearest book (of at least 123 pages).
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the next three sentences.
5. Tag five people.

This is my book:

“There was an enormous bipartisan consensus that the Depression required dictatorial and fascistic policies to defeat it. Walter Lipmann, serving as an ambassador for America’s liberal elite, told FDR in a private meeting at Warm Springs, ‘The situation is critical, Franklin. You may have no alternative but to assume dictatorial powers.'”

This is from the must read book Liberal Fascism by Jonah Goldberg.  It’s interesting that those on the Modern Progressive side of politics claim they possess the honesty, purity, and all good intentions–because they have our best interests in their heart doncha know– seem to deny the dictatorial political practice of their favorite King, umm,  I mean president.  The president who actually further destroyed what ever constitutional government we still had left which we are suffering under to this very day!   And they call us fascists!

Now for the tags:  Please post your results in the comments section so we can see this interesting experiment evolve.   If you deem a meme post too frivolous for your blog, well, get over it!  It’s fun!
