Please leave your comments on the new blog. Thank you for your patience while I transition to my new No Compromise blog

Brilliant!…38 and counting!! 🙂
This is great, having all this in one article. Thanks.
as a media person, i get a kick out of these kind of assertions–“the media ignores.” i’m going to assume you are not with obama every time he speaks. i’m going to assume his campaign doesn’t keep you supplied with copies of his statements. i’m going to assume you got all of the statements from the same news media you said ignored the statements. admit it. what you really want is for everyone to keep hammering away at the statements so you can get your rocks off.
@ straightrecord what exactly is your point ? Would you leave a similar comment on a blog showcasing McCain’s flight training and service record, his divorces and philandering, his voting record or district shopping ?
The truth is the points in this post are important. I’m going to assume you’ll be voting Obama no matter what.
hmmm…I hadn’t even heard of half of these claims. Many of them seem pretty nit-picky and irrelevant IMO.
alfie: the title of this blog talks about supposedly 38 obama “facts the media ignores.” as my answer applies equally about mccain and any other candidate. you people keep saying “the media ignores” when the only reason you know something is the media told you. this is thus a silly assertion and was the purpose of my response. but i’ll address the rest of your non sequitur response. on mccain: again, all the “facts” you present you had to get from the media, which i guess you would still say “the media ignores.” but i assert further that none of this means crap when choosing a president. you are trying to make mountains out of moleholes when you should be focusing on the issues and how each candidate would perform as president on issues that really have an impact on your life, your family’s, your neighbors and the rest of the country. voters need to grow up and becomed informed.
I am also counting your list; it looks so similar to a grocery list; well thought and well researched; you must be really over-anxious and worried right.(smile)
@straightrecord…I never said the media ignored anything although any number of those in the 4th estate do indeed portion, gloss over and delete things.I’ll be fair and say that applies to right and left media.
I don’t see where that applied but good for you continuing to bring snark to a thread.
I’d put to you (and Chen) that looking into the character of a candidate is essential to choosing a President.I’d further stip that it is at least equal to the issues since the “election issues” are all based on promises and intent.
I agree with you totally that voters should seek to be informed and looking at the full character and record of Obama and McCain is important and appropriate.
The Typical Fear of an American Jew, who’s afraid this next president won’t be a puppet for Israel. Well, my freind, Israel can’t stay on top for ever?!
What goes around, comes around 🙂
also @ straightrecord…found your site amusing, interesting and infuriating depending on the piece. I’d have a ton of questions for you do you have/haunt any forums ?

I am offended by the strong antisemitic timbre of your post. I am hoping that I am mistaken and that because this is wtitten and not oral the mistake lies in not a continued dialog.
One only has to do research on their own to know the truth and not be led like a dog on a leash. I have three questions for you:
1) When was the first exodos into what is now Isreal?
2) Who is the first famous American to tour Palestine and when?
3) What was the cause of the 2nd Intifada?
These are not hard questions and the answers can be found almost anywhere, especially in a library.
As for Obama: He’s is not trust worthy and if you will not take the time to check out facts for yourself, then do not look anywhere but in a mirror if he is elected and his true nature is revealed.
alfie: no forums i, but the site has at the bottom of the pages a Contact Us: editor@straightrecord.com and http://www.straightrecord.com/aboutus, and, of course, my weblog “setting the record straight” at
http://www.straightrecord.wordpress.com.
This is a brilliant poece and should be circulated everywhere on the blosphere! Tjhere are more than a few blogs which would eat this up with much joy!
Congratulations to NC on her choice of blog material! I must cpome here every day!
By the way, love your Muhammad up in the header! Impeccacable choice!
I have a question. Are any of these direct quotes? Because I googled a bunch of these and came up with no legitimate sites. Also, can you back up when he said these things exactly? As well as where you found proof to contradict him? I’m all for criticizing Obama, and some of them seem legit, but I think you just made up a bunch of these. Unless you can produce evidence.
russ:
most bloggers simply pass along hate e-mail and other stuff with lies and unsubstantiated statements. check them out at http://www.factcheck.org or http://www.snopes.com or legitimate newspapers that have a truth squad. these sites reveal the lies of both sides, particularly the claims in the idiotic campaign ads.
