NC: Earth to Liberals: the secret to pulling out of the looming Depression is simple – (1) Stop the bloat of Big Daddy by reducing federal spending, (2) Stop borrowing ever more from the Chinese, (3) Stop printing our currency like you’re manufacturing candy, (4) stop taxing (stealing) the U.S. Citizenry blind, (5) Eliminate all corporate income taxes, (6) reduce all welfare payments, especially for corporations, (7) Nuke the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act which strangles business, (8} eliminate all capital gains taxes, (9) reduce regulations and litigations, and (10) implement the FairTax system now.

AAAAaaaaaaaaaHAAA Haaa haaaaaaaaaaaa………. OooooooooooEEEEeeeeeeee………..
DAMN funny 🙂
Sure sounds nice though. The corruption “leading” America into the insignificant backwaters of history ain’t gonna have a bit of it though.
Americans need to start studying how to hide their wealth from the scumbag government.
Don’t worry about muggers on the STREET. It’s the muggers coming in through your mailbox that will RUIN you.
Wanna keep your freedoms ? You’d better be prepared to FIGHT for them then because “the enemy within” is now our LEADER.
I’m thinking that the reason America has been on top for so many years is that we’ve invested in infrastructure. From investments in our educational and research institutions to the construction of improved transit and energy systems, this is how jobs get created.
sti1es,
Please define “on top”. Throwing money blindly at general infrastructure is a poor investment to be sure. Education, in particular, has shown over many years now to be almost completely resistant to real returns on incremental investment. And, meanwhile, our kids’ test scores continue to lag behind other industrialized nations.
I believe that education should be an individual investment and should be entirely in the hands of parents. IF the costs must be socialized, why not issue equal-sized vouchers where every child could spend it on the educational method/school of their choice? It’s the ‘choice’ part here, the power of the free market, the control over one’s own destiny which actually correlates to being “on top”.
Are you not disturbed by the way the public education system has essentially morphed into Government (Liberal) indoctrination centers? Why are our students so ignorant of basic Civics, and Economics, and History, and incapable of making sound Inferences? Government infusions into ‘transit’ boondoggles and nationalizing energy markets are among the WORST investments of our money ever.
This is NOT how jobs get created. A job is ‘created’ when an Employer voluntarily agrees to pay an Employee a mutually agreeable amount for their rendered labor or services. Rather than enhance it, Big Daddy intervention into this private agreement, a JOB, inevitably f*’s up its viability and productivity over the long term.
The unique thing that used to keep us Americans “on top”, was that we used to believe in a Government which would ensure and protect the conditions, our individual Rights and Liberties, which would allow all of us to maximize our own potentials – maximizing our individual talents, innovation, and productivity – thus, providing an increasing standard of living for ourselves and our posterity.
Why have we foresaken this basic inheritance, the sacred belief in the individual’s Pursuit of Happiness, but instead have accepted stagnant, or declining standards of living in America?!
TR asks:
Why have we foresaken this basic inheritance, the sacred belief in the individual’s Pursuit of Happiness, but instead have accepted stagnant, or declining standards of living in America?!
I’ll answer:
We have foresaken this basic inheritance, this belief in the individual’s Pursuit of Happiness, because we’ve been sold a “bill of goods” by people who, whether they know it or not, beleive in an ideology that directly undermines it.
Some of us were allowed to grow up thinking that our own gratification was pre-eminent, and reached adult-hood with a passion-oriented perspective on life. Our thoughts weren’t clear or logical, but filtered through our passions.
The Constitution’s Framers, believed that our free society could only remain free if the individuals in it were self-governing, with passions in check.
Liberals regard the understanding of morality and virtue held by the Founding Fathers to be “outdated and irrelevant.”
James Madison, known as the “Father of our Constitution,” emphasized the importance of personal moral restraint when he declared,
“We have staked the whole of all our political institutions upon the capacity of mankind for self-government, upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves. … ”
The Founders knew that to limit the need for far-reaching governmental controls and to preserve individuals’ freedom, American society would need to emphasize morality and virtue. Since America was to be a nation of people who would rule themselves, the preservation of moral fiber was imperative.
“Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters. “-Benjamin Franklin, signer of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution
“It is certainly true that a popular government cannot flourish without virtue in the people. “-Richard Henry Lee, signer of the Declaration of Independence
“The only foundation for a useful education in a republic is to be laid in religion. Without this there can be no virtue, and without virtue there can be no liberty, and liberty is the object and life of all republican governments. ” -Benjamin Rush, signer of the Declaration of Independence
“The government… can never be in danger of degenerating into a monarchy, an oligarchy an aristocracy, or any other despotic or oppressive form so long as there shall remain any virtue in the body of the people. “-George Washington
THERE REMAINS NO “VIRTUE IN THE BODY” OF THE PEOPLE !!!
“Neither the wisest constitution nor the wisest laws will secure the liberty and happiness of a people whose manners are universally corrupt. ” -Samuel Adams, signer of the Declaration of Independence
Our manners ARE universally corrupt. If they weren’t, we wouldn’t be where we ARE today.
We’re like children expecting mommy and daddy (now “the govt.”) to give us a titty to suckle on. “We the people” have become a dependant body of “We the sheeple.”
Hey obama, got a handout for me TOO ?
Poor poor obama. Don’t you feel bad for him ?:

Poor guy has to try to figure out how to handle a nation of crybabies, bedwetters and thumbsuckers.
Socialism ought to do the trick I reckon 🙂
We all know the help Acorn gave the Democrats in
stealingwinning the last election. What was in it for them? Is 4 billion dollars enough?Democrats attempt to pay off Acorn
‘Ave a look at this:
This is where the dumb sheeple of America are allowing our govt. to drag us.
Then, just as over there, we’ll wake up one day and decide we should have some kind of “march” or something.
What it takes to make people aware – crazy eyes –
God people are stupid.
